I am a pediatric mental health therapist specializing in child-centered, non-directive play therapy for children. I help young people navigate challenges such as anxiety, ADHD, emotional regulation, life transitions, and identity development through developmentally appropriate, relationship-based approaches. I also provide ongoing parent coaching to support caregivers in understanding their child’s needs, strengthening connection, and using affirming, effective strategies at home.
As a pediatric mental health therapist, it is essential to me that every child and family who enters my practice feels wholly seen, respected, and safe. Being an LGBTQ+ affirming provider means creating a therapeutic space where children and teens can explore their identities without fear of judgment, and where caregivers are supported in understanding and celebrating who their child is. My practice upholds neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed, and identity-affirming values, and I intentionally use inclusive language, offer resources for caregivers, and advocate for each client’s right to authenticity. Ensuring that all families—especially those in the LGBTQ+ community—feel welcomed and affirmed is foundational to the work I do.
