Snowdrift Coffee Roasters is a trans- and queer-owned artisan small-batch roasting company based in Roscoe, Illinois. Co-owners Ant Walach and Rita Kaminsky bring a combined 40 years of experience in the coffee industry. They approach every coffee with care and intention, focusing on quality, consistency, and thoughtful attention to each step of the process, from receiving green coffee to roasting and production. As LGBTQ+ business owners, Ant and Rita are committed to showing up with pride and purpose. Their work is a reflection of the value of queer and trans visibility in small business, and a reminder that mutual support within our communities can fuel both craft and connection.

As LGBTQ+ small business owners, we choose to show our support through action. We serve as board members for Pride on the Line, a local LGBTQ+ advocacy group, and contribute to other local organizations that serve our LGBTQ+ community.
