We are a non-profit social enterprise in Midtown Rockford that creates space for artists of all kinds to support each other and the community. We have a store space that has beautiful creations by local artists and a Community Room for all to use. We also promote health in the broad sense of the word by providing opportunities for folks to connect as they enjoy music, visual arts, and other programs in our space. We greatly value collaborating with others in the community and helping with the economic & community development in Midtown Rockford, bringing folks together at events such as a Block Party that we organize with and for our neighbors.
It is so helpful to know of safer spaces and I greatly appreciate having such a resource to share. As a volunteer leader at Inscape Collective, I know that we are grateful to have the Liam Foundation as a neighbor in Midtown with whom we can collaborate. Our store space and Community Room have been welcoming to the LGBTQ+ community as evidenced by increasing numbers of those who may identify as LGBTQ+ participating especially in our Open Mic nights that happen every second Friday of the month and other events.
