The Family Peace Center is a 501(c)(3), multi-agency, multi-disciplinary co-located service center that connects survivors of interpersonal violence, elder abuse, sexual abuse or child abuse to essential services. Both public and private partner agencies assign staff to provide services from one location. The facility focuses on reducing the number of times survivors tell their stories and the number of places survivors must go for help, as well as increasing access to services and support for survivors and their children.
LGBTQ+ women, trans people and non-binary people are equally as likely, if not more so, than their cisgender and heterosexual peers to have experienced domestic or sexual violence at some point in their lifetimes. Led by the voices of survivors, the Family Peace Center will build a safe, thriving community for all by creating pathways to self-empowerment for adult and child survivors of domestic and sexual violence through integrated, long-term services provided with kindness, dignity, and inclusivity, while driving transformation through education and community collaboration.
